Section H - Contact & Assessment Details

Contact details of both the assessor and their accreditation body are included in this section, along with details on what to do if you are unhappy with any part of the assessment or certificate. The type and date of the assessment are also included, the certificate date is especially important as the EPC expires ten years from this date.

Assessor Contact Details: The name, telephone number and email address associated with the assessor are listed here.

Accreditation Scheme Contact Details: the name, telephone number and email address associated with the accreditation scheme are listed here. Additionally, the assessor ID is here, which can be used to identify the specific assessor.

Assessment Details:

• Assessor’s declaration: This is to confirm that the assessor doesn’t have a vested interest in the property or what the property’s EPC rating might be.
• Date of assessment: The date that the property was surveyed.
• Date of certificate: This is the date that the certificate was lodged on the government database. The certificate is valid for 10 years from this date unless superseded by a newer certificate.
• Type of assessment: RdSAP, existing dwelling is the technical term for your domestic EPC. RDSAP refers to the 'Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure', the methodology that is used to produce your EPC rating.
